上戶彩在新片《武士的菜單》中，飾演梅開二度的「料理女神」，因高超廚藝受到御廚武士世家青睞，不僅以美食征服整個家族，還從「下堂妻」搖身成為掌廚少奶奶。雖手藝高超，但幾乎都是做給別人吃，面對美食，她一不小心就露出饞相，尤其肚子更是不聽使喚地咕嚕咕嚕叫。

她在片中與具有台灣客家血統的日本女星余貴美子飾演婆媳，為鼓勵剛過門的媳婦，還將她比做「肥美的鰹魚」，讓她聽了一臉錯愕。劇中兩人沒有婆媳問題，還十分交心、無話不談，婆婆處處偏心，還把兒子高良健吾過往情史全部抖了出來。她在片中展現喜感，一場長途跋涉、嫁到夫家的戲，髮型亂七八糟，臉上都布滿沙塵，讓觀眾笑得超開心。《武士的菜單》明在台上映。
