議員批北市「生」不出台灣黑熊

台北市議員李慶元今在議會質詢表示，台北市立動物園台灣黑熊嘉男今年闖入母黑熊嘟嘟欄舍，咬死嘟嘟，因公熊只愛母熊，卻咬死母熊，啟人疑竇。
 
李慶元說，據知情人士透露，工作人員疑未關妥嘟嘟欄舍門鎖，且公熊處於飢餓狀態，才讓公熊飢不擇食。此外，當時照顧黑熊的保育員才上任三個月，臨時人員則是政戰學校畢業，有無專業訓練不得而知。李質疑，貓熊團團、圓圓來台五年，動物園花了上千萬元就生出貓熊圓仔，但圈養黑熊有28年經驗，卻連一隻小黑熊都繁殖不出來。
 
北市動物園長金仕謙表示，「責任理當由我承擔」，動物園已做新欄舍設施，另調集六機構協助繁殖台灣黑熊，希望園內能自行繁殖成功第一隻台灣黑熊。
 
北市教育局長林奕華表示，台灣黑熊繁殖已列為重大事項，盼在一定時程內繁殖出台灣黑熊。
