愛迪生出發　偏鄉學童體驗科學

台灣科學教育館從2011年起辦理「『愛』迪生出發」公益學習活動，邀請超過單親、失親、隔代、新移民、原住民及清寒家庭的孩子，到科教館體驗科學；前年起邀請台北市立大學、中央大學等12所大專前進偏鄉小學開科學課程，今年再推出科學社團公益學習扶芽計畫，邀請5所大專院校成為偏鄉小學科學性社團的後盾，鼓勵孩子進行科學活動。

科教館表示，4年來已經邀請1萬名孩子到館參觀，今年也將持續邀請4000人；到校開科學課3年來則服務2360人次，今年開始扶植科學社團，則服務2240人次。參觀的新北市育英國小學童到科教館和老師進行科學演示，並向現場觀眾解說「重心原理」；育英學童林省蒔說，這是他第1次去科教館，最讓他感到驚奇的是看到方形輪子的單車，也覺得科教館非常好玩。（蔡永彬／台北報導）
