走路時只顧低頭玩手機不僅危險，可能還會錯失獲得『意外之財』的機會。美國西華盛頓大學的一項實驗在一棵樹上掛滿鈔票，然而94%邊走路邊用手機的行人，都沒察覺到樹上的紙幣。

中新網據香港《文匯報》報導，在這項實驗中，研究員將100張1美元鈔票釘在樹葉上，每張鈔票還附上小字條，寫有『看！免費金錢』、『不要問，只享受』等字句，研究員設置攝錄機拍攝整個過程，並將片段上載至影片網站。

片段顯示，多名路人經過『搖錢樹』時只顧看手機，連其他人摘下樹葉也沒有為意。雖然也有行人將視線離開手機，望向樹上鈔票，但結果都是徑自走過，顯示他們根本心不在焉。

不過，也有一些特別精明的人一眼就看到樹上的鈔票，拍照留念後再取走錢，更提醒其他正在用手機的人有錢可拿。


邊走邊玩手機的行人中，有94%都完全錯過了這個『天上掉餡餅』的機會。
